I was somewhat hestitant about if our dogs would be able to use this door. Two long legged 35 pounders, a lab mix who weighs in at 45 pounds and a W.Va. brown dog who tips the scale at 65 pounds. However, it’s not problem at all. It was easily installed and looks good. I prefer this one to the more expensive one I have at home.

I got the door for my very large cat to go from the kitchen to an enclosed back porch. It was very easy to install and works well.

Overall, I’m happy with this door. This is one of the few that I found that had the option to manually close it if I desired. The cover is strong enough to prevent your pet or other animals from getting in, but it’s not strong enough to prevent a boot from kicking it out and reaching up to your door handle.
The only small complaint I have is that on extremly windy days, the flap does sometimes stay slightly open. Besides that, this door performs as I expected.

From the dimensions and the picture of a poodle using it, I thought sure all our 6 cats would fit through it…wrong! The larger ones could squeeze through, but they weren’t happy doing it. This size is great for kittens and lean cats. If your cat is over 10 lbs. go with the next size up. On the plus side, it was very easy to install and operated quietly when in use.

This is a great pet door for the money. The magnet in the door flap keeps it closed tightly. I have a small daschund (slightly overweight)and it is a tight fit for him, but he gets in and out okay…..with a little effort on his part!!!!

I’ve been using New Balance running shoes for some 20 years now, and the M587 (and its predecessors, the M586 and M585) for much of that time. When I started using New Balance shoes I stopped having the troubles with my knees that I’d been having with other running shoes. I go almost everywhere in the M587–I even teach my university courses wearing the M587! The M587 is simply the best running shoe–and most comfortable shoe of any type–that I’ve ever owned. I hope to keep using the M587 well into the new milenium. I might also add that Amazon.com prices the M587 substantially below the price charged by my previous online supplier.

The New Balance Men’s M587 Running Shoe has been an excellent running shoe. It has a built in rollbar that prevent shin-splints and the shoes are extremely comfortable to run-in. I have been buying this shoe for over four years and two deployments to Iraq. I recommend this shoe to any runner that runs 4-5 times a week.

I do a whole lot of walking in the city where some places it’s just quicker and more convenient to walk to certain places. If you do a lot of running or walking, you’ll notice a difference in the feel of these shoes compared to other brands. There’s no gimmicky air bubbles or springs; just comfort and support with a style of shoe that goes with anything you wear. It also comes in wide sizes!

These shoes are so light that sometimes I forget I have them on. They are so comfortable than I don’t want to take them off. I have to walk a lot every day and I am not kidding when I said that any other pair of shoes make my feet sore after a few hours of use, but these shoes do the job to perfection.
I highly recommend them.

No shoe or brand is going to work for everyone, but I’m convinced the New Balance 587 is the best one for me. I’m a big ol’ fat boy (6′2″, 210lbs) with feet that are stupid wide (13EEEE). I started running in my late 40s and ran my first marathon at age 49, and I haven’t used any other running shoe for the past several years. When I hit 350-400 miles, I get a new pair, convert my running pair to my walking pair, and throw out the current walking pair.
